The Challenge:
Graduate recruitment is a competitive market
It’s essential that every step of the process is simple. That’s what graduates interested in Mace experience, thanks to the engage|ats system. It enables them to receive and process a high volume of applications and manage them throughout the entire recruitment process. It also offers autonomy for the client, who can set up their own vacancies, application forms, routes, rules and processes with ease.
There’s always room for improvement and client needs also change, so what developments have we seen lately?

The Solution:
Partnering every step of the way
Most recently, we’ve worked with Mace to make sure the system is delivering everything it needs to create the most impactful graduate experience. Working closely with the client, we’ve identified areas that need adapting to improve their use. They’ve provided us with ideas of what they would like to see next, such as a dashboard, which is currently being built.
And we’ve also upgraded their system to track links for job boards so the client can see where candidates have come from, and candidates can now amend the role that they’re applying for if they find another they’re more suited to (previously this had to be managed by the Mace team).
The Results:
A very happy client
When it comes to numbers, Mace has received 8,541 submissions for 172 vacancies in the last 12 months. engage|ats supports Mace’s diversity commitments by enabling them to monitor applications from particular audiences, such as those from disadvantaged backgrounds or care leavers. The reporting suite on our engage | ats enables the client to pull data on vacancies and applications to help them effectively analyse, measure and evaluate each recruitment cycle.
And last but not least, we continue to build a strong relationship with Mace: “The team at engage | ats are brilliant. From our account manager and project manager to the help desk, the team is always happy to help or discuss any areas for development and provide regular communication.”
